Theatre
Over the past 10 years Tayitu Cultural Center has staged numerous productions and variety shows, by current count over 31 plays and over a dozen skits, traveling to over 150 cities, crisscrossing North America, Canada and Western Europe, not to mention various venues in the Washington DC Metropolitan area. Through the Performing Arts, and especially theater, both traditional and Western, short plays and skits, dramatic and humorous, Tayitu Cultural Center has been instrumental in creating memorable moments, educational moments on the stage, while continually striving to connect the Ethiopian community to its cultural legacy.
